Mediation

Mediation is a process where an impartial third party (the mediator) facilitates negotiations between the parties. The parties remain in control and responsible for negotiating a resolution; the mediator's role is to assist the process in ways acceptable to the parties. Mediation is a confidential process. If the conflict is not resolved during the mediation process, everything discussed during mediation cannot be used against a party in any further proceeding.

Fact-finding

Fact-finding is a process that entails the appointment of a person with technical expertise in the subject matter to evaluate the matter and file a report establishing the facts.

Arbitration

Arbitration involves the referral of a dispute to an impartial third party who, after giving the parties an opportunity to present their evidence and arguments renders a determination in resolution of the dispute.

Conflict Coaching

Conflict coaching is a process in which a coach and client communicate one-on-one for the purpose of developing the client's conflict-related skills. The conflict coach assists the client in making sense of conflict and developing plans for active conflict management.
